Much like Orbital on the first night, the job of seeing out the All Together Now main stage with an hour and a half's worth of delectable dance beats falls to English synth-pop band Hot Chip.
They've done more than a few DJ sets in Ireland throughout the last few years, but nothing really compares to seeing the fully kitted out Hot Chip in the flesh. Aside from the fact that they've produced several of the best pop tunes of the last 20 years, they also have a strangely captivating stage presensce.
In White shirts, white overalls, and white jumpsuits, they launch into the same summertime setlist which has done well for them throughout the summer festival circuit - 12 songs, all the hits. It's a performance which has clearly been refined over the last few months, but is no less interesting for being so. A special shoutout to the genius behind their lightshow. A bevvy of every-coloured lazers ensures that it's an immersive experience from start to finish.

The highlight of the set comes towards the end, when Alexis Taylor delivers an impeccable cover of the Beastie Boys' 'Sabotage.'
Honourable mention: Pillow Queens have a take-no-prisoners style of power-punk which just continually oozes charisma. Against a very clear backdrop - simply saying 'End Direct Provision' - they give it their all for the hits, as well as playing a few tracks from their long awaited debut album. We can't wait to hear it...
