In the midst of a busy run of tour dates, Jazzy – and friends – made a stop in her hometown for a special charity show in aid of the Children’s Health Foundation
The Irish queen of dance music Jazzy has been in high demand these past couple of years – with her hit single ‘Giving Me’ peaking at No.1 on the national charts, making her the first Irish female artist in 14 years to achieve this milestone. In 2024 alone, she's scored two awards at the Choice Music Prize, as well as a BRIT Award nomination for Best International Song.
It's no wonder them, that the 3Olympia Theatre crowd – made up of the most stylish, enthusiastic fans an artist could ask for – was pulsating ahead of her charity show last night, in aid of the Children's Health Foundation.
Taking to the stage first was dance group Back Street Dancer Dublin, presenting a captivating show from the award-winning studio. This high-octane opener was soon followed by Kildare-based DJ Jen Payne and pop singer Shanice Griffin.
The last special guest of the night was Dublin DJ duo Belters Only, who have worked closely with Jazzy since releasing the chart-topping track ‘Make Me Feel Good’ with the Crumlin star in 2021. Across a dynamic 30-minute set, they made sure to keep the anticipation high in the theatre – the intensity reaching an absolute peak during their last song, and finally exploding when Jazzy entered the stage, accompanied by four dancers.

Her set opened with the 2023 single ‘Feel It’, a sharp, hard-hitting tune built around a catchy hook and entrancing repetition. Dressed in black cargo pants and a turquoise vest, matching her dancers’ white attire, Jazzy showcased her effortless ability to grab everyone’s attention and keep it.
Seeing so many talented women on stage on the same evening was a joyful experience – and Jazzy, with her four back-up dancers, were no exception. The well-crafted choreography added to the top-class stage production, which was centred around bold pink lights and carefully selected outfits. Of course, her electrifying presence was more than enough to keep the audience hooked to her every word.
It is during the performance of ‘Make Me Feel Good’ that Jazzy’s vocals got the chance to really shine. As the enthusiastic crowd recited the lyrics by heart, the singer performed the backing vocals instead, belting out notes with her warm, raspy voice.
Admittedly, I've never been a big consumer of dance music – yet during this set I couldn't help but be swept up by the excitement of the public, and the incredibly catchy tunes. The exhilaration went into overdrive when Jazzy returned to the stage for her very last song, following a quick exit that I knew could only signify one thing: an outfit change.
Returning in an attention-grabbing silver vest, the singer performed ‘Giving Me’ – the crowd screaming along to one of Jazzy's most high-energy and irresistible singles. It was the perfect ending to an incredibly lively show that set the venue alight.

Exiting the stage, Jazzy gave a final, giggly goodbye to her audience – almost as though she still couldn't quite believe her own success. It was heart-warming to see such genuine energy and emotion from the beloved artist – especially for such a good cause.
