The Limerick duo played their energetic set from Naughton's in Kilkee – supported by the Department of Tourism, Culture, Arts, Gaeltacht, Sport and Media below.
Embracing the aesthetics of nostalgia and youth, Lost Boys are fast becoming one of the most promising indie bands in the country. The Limerick group take their influence from the likes of Glass Animals, The Academic and All Tvvins, while also carving out a path that's entirely their own.
Their Y&E Series opened with 'Sadie', one of the standout tracks from their Honey Mustard EP, released earlier this year. The EP has clocked up over 44,000 streams on Spotify alone, and it's easy to see why – the band have knack for creating catchy melodies that carry honest songwriting.
The group segued into a surf rock-tinged track called 'Gemini', absolutely lighting up the Hot Press Instagram. Then came 'Passage West', a beautiful song with trad-inspired instrumentation, and 'Sleeping Alone', a 2019 single.
They were joined in the last segment of the livestream by their drummer, Patrick, who asked the lads fan questions.
Watch the group's lively performance below.
