The new edition of the Hot Press Lockdown Sessions' Y&E Series continues, with the support of the Department of Media, Tourism, Arts, Culture, Sport and the Gaeltacht.
Widely tipped as one of the country's most captivating singer-songwriters, SÍOMHA treated fans to stunning, stripped-back set live from Co. Clare, as part of the Y&E Series.
Kicking off with her acclaimed track 'Fly', SÍOMHA's powerful vocals took centre stage with acoustic guitar accompaniment – blending the boundaries between neo-soul, jazz and folk. She also offered a taste of what to expect from her upcoming album, including a performance as gaeilge, and a brand new track 'How To Change Your Mind'. SÍOMHA's performance also delved into her influences, with a unique rendition of Bob Dylan's 'Don't Think Twice, It's All Right'.
SÍOMHA's debut album, produced by Tyler Duncan (Vulfpeck, Theo Katzman) and supported through a Kickstarter campaign, is expected this year.
