WILLOW rocked the Electric Arena Stage on Friday night of Electric Picnic.
WILLOW graced the Electric Arena stage on Friday of Electric Picnic. Fitted in a casual baggy t-shirt and a knit hat with bunny ears, the American artist delivered a delightfully passionate performance.
She made clear how happy she was to be here in Ireland, as the crowd met her with chants of "Willow, Willow, Willow!" and she replied "Dublin, Dublin, Dublin!"
She bowed down to the audience in gratitude for their cheers and love after opening with 't r a n s p a r e n t s o u l'. The 21-year-old has the stage presence of a veteran, appearing both incredibly confident and thrilled to be on stage.
The artist played track 'naïve' which she called one of her favorite songs off 2021 album lately I feel EVERYTHING. "You open up to me like a flower/I just wanna see you bloom," she belted. Her vocals shine through in a unique way.
"Recently I've been being ballsy and playing new songs, 'cause why not?" WILLOW said before playing unreleased tune 'curious/furious'. Impressively, the artist had the whole crowd clapping along above their heads to the never-before-heard track. She announced on Instagram earlier in the day that the single will be released on September 9th, ahead of her new album COPINGMECHANISM due on September 23rd.

WILLOW took many a dance break between songs. She dropped down to the ground at times in passion throughout her set. Her and guitarist Liso Lee jammed out together, as Lee whipped her hair all around while shredding the guitar on her knees.
"One question I ask every person I love in this life- so all of you are on that list," she told the audience, "is: meet me at our spot?" The crowd roared, as she went into song "Meet Me At Our Spot" from 2020's THE ANXIETY, her joint project with Tyler Cole.
Jumping up and down, WILLOW let the crowd sing most of hit song 'Wait a Minute!' from her 2015 debut ARDIPITHECUS. WILLOW is a stand out act, and easily distinguishes herself from her star-studded family.
