"You deserve to feel like you," four time Grammy winner Lizzo told her followers ahead of Transgender Day of Visibility.
Hailed by her fanbase as a champion of self love, Lizzo has just announced a new line of gender-affirming shape wear - 'Your Skin.'
The award-winning singer-songwriter has long been an advocate for body positivity, with songs that exude confidence and acceptance. She is the voice behind hits such as 'Juice,' and 'Good as Hell,' and recently won a Grammy for 'About Damn Time,' the hit single off of her fourth studio album, Special.
In 2022, she partnered with Fabletics to release Yitty, a size-inclusive shapewear brand which seeks help customers of all body types "feel unapologetically good about themselves." The brand has since amassed a large following, celebrated for its rare size inclusivity.

'Your Skin'– announced just hours before the Transgender Day of Visibility–broadens Yitty's horizons, now including binder tops and tucking thongs, which flatten the chest and crotch areas in safe and comfortable ways.
"I’ve watched countless videos of people crafting their own garments to wrap or tuck their bodies so their body can truly feel like theirs," professed the singer to her Instagram. "I’ve heard people talk about their preference of wanting to be fluid in how they want to present their bodies depending on their mood or style of clothing. And I wanted to help."

The launch was also posted to Yitty's own account, which stated:
"We believe in radical self-love for people of all gender identities—including the trans, non-binary, gender-fluid and gender non-conforming communities that have been chronically underserved," adding "It is our mission to continue serving all bodies, which is why these core styles will always be available at YITTY, starting late summer 2023."
The campaign brings gender inclusive wear into mainstream fashion, and had already received a hugely positive response.
"I can only speak from my own experiences but I often feel lost in my body," wrote non-binary model Shaheem Anderson to their Instagram. "I have ALWAYS looked to clothing to express who I am inwardly... but there are still some challenges with specific silhouettes. How cool that FINALLY a mainstream brand like Yitty will be selling BINDERS and TUCKING BOTTOMS!!

Lizzo is ecstatic to announce that her passion project will launch this summer. The move comes as 14 States in the US are in the process of banning gender-affirming care, Iowa being the most recent.
