The singer and some members of her tour staff have been accused of sexual harassment by multiple former tour dancers.
Lizzo has officially responded to the allegations made against her in a lawsuit filed earlier this week.
“These last few days have been gut wrenchingly difficult and overwhelmingly disappointing,” she said in an Instagram post. “These sensationalised stories are coming from former employees who have already publicly admitted that they were told their behaviour on tour was inappropriate and unprofessional.”

The singer was accused of sexual harassment by three of her tour dancers. The lawsuit filed in Los Angeles on Tuesday also accused the singer of creating a hostile working environment while on tour.

“The stunning nature of how Lizzo and her management team treated their performers seems to go against everything Lizzo stands for publicly, while privately she weight-shames her dancers and demeans them in ways that are not only illegal but absolutely demoralizing,” said Ron Zambrano, legal representative for the accusers, in a statement.
Lizzo has been spending the majority of 2023 touring North America, Europe, and Asia.
She played in Dublin's 3 Arena last march, describing the capital as "one of the most energetic, giving cities we’ve been to on the entire tour."
