After recording weekly in Sligo for the past year, Looder Man - created by John Daly and Jimmy Border – have finally released their debut album, Boom Boom Bar
After being childhood friends and school buddies since the 60s and fanning over the Beatles, Jimmy Broder and John Daly saw all of their heroes at the Isle of Wight in 1970 and were determined to have their own band. Life then took the pair on different paths.
Fast forward fifty years later... and they present Looder Man.
After covid – and in particular, The Beatles Let it Be documentary – they met up again and started this new project. It was as if they never parted. Their sound is constantly evolving, exploring different settings for Jimmy’s songs. They are not genre-specific and when required use words like pop, doom pop, lounge beats and soul but mostly a good groove is at the heart of their music.

The pair have released their debut album, Boom Boom Bar. The project features current arrangements of Jimmy's songs, all created on their Friday sessions at John's prefab in Co Sligo over this past year. John took on all of the instrumentation, drum machines, electronics, mixing and mastering.
