Kiwi artist Lorde will be embarking on a world tour in Spring 2022 to mark her first album in four years.
Lorde has shared the release date and tracklist for Solar Power as well as details of her 2022 tour in a newsletter to fans.
The pop singer revealed the August 20th release date for her third album in the lengthy email - including the tracklist - which consists of 12 songs and 2 bonus tracks.
"The album is a celebration of the natural world, an attempt at immortalising the deep, transcendent feelings I have when I’m outdoors," the singer wrote to fans earlier this month.
"In times of heartache, grief, deep love, or confusion, I look to the natural world for answers. I’ve learnt to breathe out, and tune in. This is what came through."
The 24-year-old New Zealander also revealed that the album will be released to retail in August on vinyl and an eco-friendly alternative to CD's which the singer has labelled as a "music box".

"It’ll be the same size and shape as a CD, and you can buy it where CDs live, but this is something totally different. If you’re torn on which hold-in-your-hands, flip-through-the-pages thing to buy to best enjoy this album, honestly, I’d go for the music box. You’ll know more about this very soon," she told fans.
The Solar Power Tour will visit theatres and outdoor spaces in Europe, the UK, the US, New Zealand and Australia in what the 'Green Light' singer promised will be an "intimate" experience for those who attend.
Speaking about the tour on The Late Show With Stephen Colbert she said, “It sort of doesn’t seem real, but I’m super keen. This album is so joyful and big and such a good thing to experience with a bunch of people, so I’m glad the timing worked out that we could do a tour".
Lorde also confirmed that she would not be returning to social media any time soon, saying that not being on any platforms makes her feel "incredible".
"I’d love to maintain feeling that good, and also build this really cool new zone with you guys. I want this bulletin to be our special spot. I see it as being part news bulletin, part diary, part old-school fan site," she told her followers.
Lorde has been communicating with fans primarily through her newsletter for the past few years as she has taken a hiatus from social media since releasing Melodrama in 2017.
