Lorde calls out Robert Kraft with 'Free Palestine' jacket at show
Lorde called out billionaire Robert Kraft following her show at Austin City Limits festival on Saturday, where she wore a white jacket emblazoned with the words 'Free Palestine' at the bottom.
She posted a picture of herself wearing the jacket in an Instagram story on Monday, and tagged an account with the username @mr.robertkraft, a fan account for the magnate.

This is a reference to Kraft's involvement in the removal of US rapper Macklemore from Ed Sheeran's LOOP tour in September. He was dropped as a supporting act due to his calls for a 'free Palestine,' during his opening set at the MetLife stadium in New Jersey on September 4.
Kraft was among several stadium owners who contacted Sheeran following Macklemore's opening set and threatened to pull the show from stadiums if he was not removed from the tour.
He owns Gillette stadium in Massachusetts, and the New England Patriots football team. He is a longtime supporter of Israel and the Israeli military.
Following the controversy, both Sheeran and Kraft pledged to donate $2 million (€1.74 million) to provide "aid in the region." This came after Macklemore announced he would donate his net earnings from the LOOP tour to charity. He challenged Kraft to match his donation.
Macklemore announced his FREE PALESTINE tour on September 24, which includes a date in Dublin's 3Arena on October 26. He will also perform shows in London and Paris.
All proceeds from the tour will be donated to 12 different organisations such as Palestinian Youth Movement, Jewish Voice for Peace, Medical Aid for Palestinians, the Palestine Children's Relief Fund and more.
Lorde has been vocal in her support for Palestine. During her Ultrasound World Tour show last year at Madison Square Garden, she chanted "free-fucking-Palestine," while performing her song 'Team.'
She also joined the No Music for Genocide streaming boycott in 2025. The "cultural boycott" encouraged artists to remove or block their music from streaming services in Israel. Other supporters include Wolf Alice, Massive Attack, and Fontaines D.C.
