The 23-year-old New Zealand singer-songwriter has released her third single.
Indy Yelich, Lorde's 23-year-old younger sister, has released a new single. 'Hometown,' a synth ballad about nostalgia for home and past love, is accompanied by the announcement of her debut EP.
Yelich promoted the song on her Instagram, captioning "HOMETOWN IS OUT!!! EVERYONE GO BE DRAMATIC TO MY SONG!!!!"
The musician's new single, like her debut song 'Threads,' explores her relationship with her transition from New Zealand to New York City. 'Threads' arrived this past September and Yelich's other single, 'Killer,' was released in October. All three will be on her new EP coming in February, along with unreleased tracks 'Hero' and 'Freeloader.'
When she released her debut, Yelich expressed determination and passion for her music. "I'm 23 y/o and I've been working away at music for 4 years and I'm finally ready to share this part of me with you," Yelich tweeted. "My dreamy sad synth baby. I hope you love it as much as I have loved living with it this past year."
