Taking place between January 15 and 19 in Killarney, the annual folk music conference will showcase 90 artists from across the globe.
Over 90 acts have been announced for Your Roots are Showing 2025, Ireland’s folk conference showcases, taking place between January 15 and 19 at the Gleneagle Hotel in Killarney, County Kerry.
The evening showcases will feature performances blending traditional and contemporary folk sounds, with notable acts such as Rodney Owl, Lorraine Nash, Patrick Stefan, The Henry Girls, Áine Tyrell, The Good Behaviours, Tadhg Williams, Fiona Kennedy, Mark Lyndon, The 19th Street Band, Good Habits, Al Qahwa, Brídín, ADT, Paddy Dennehy, and many more.
The 2025 conference offers a five-day program filled with live performances, professional development sessions, interactive workshops, and numerous networking opportunities, bringing together folk music enthusiasts, industry professionals, and artists from Ireland, the USA, New Zealand, Australia, Canada, and beyond.

The event, which formerly took place in Carrickmacross, Co. Monaghan, kicks off with FOLK iN FUSION - YRAS LIVE, a concert which will take place in the Gleneagle INEC arena on Monday, January 14.

The line-up includes fourteen-time Grammy-winning banjo player Ron Block, Grammy winner and bluegrass legend Peter Rowan (who is also set to receive a lifetime achievement award), Grammy-winning banjo player Alison Brown, as well as two-time Grammy and Pulitzer recipient, Rhiannon Giddens.
Other acts who will take part in the five-day event are Johnny Cash’s grandson and country-rock artist Thomas Gabriel, world champion Irish dancer David Geaney, rising Nashville star Kenny Sharp, Hothouse Flowers’ Liam Ó Maonlaí and Grammy-winning Eric Clapton and Joan Baez collaborator Dirk Powell, among others.
On January 19, the YRAS Music Trail will round off the event wil gigs taking place across local pubs, cafes and venues.
