The track features longtime Bob Dylan bassist Tom Garnier.
Irish duo The Lost Brothers, Oisin Leech and Mark McCausland, released new track 'After the Fire' today, along with a music video directed by Gavin Wood. The track is the second single from upcoming release After the Fire After the Rain, to be released on February 7.
'After the Fire' features Tom Garnier, longtime Bob Dylan bassist, on upright bass and M. Ward and Howe Gelb on electric guitars.
Oisin calls the song "a statement of perseverance and survival against all the odds. A flower growing from the aftermath, out of the rubble and the ashes.” He adds, “We tried to get some dirt and grit into the rhythm of the lyrics on this song. Growing up in Ireland, our world was wet fields and grey skies- this was our landscape as youngsters and still remains our stomping ground really.”
The Lost Brothers will be performing at Vicar Street in Dublin on Saturday, March 21.
