Seven Louis Tomlinson fans were hospitalised after a severe hail storm hit Morrison, Colorado on Wednesday night. The former One Direction member was supposed to play a live show at the Red Rocks venue, before it was postponed.

The show had to be postponed as a biblical hail storm washed down on Tomlinson’s fans, injuring more than 90. Fans were told to seek shelter, with many struggling to do so at the open air amphitheatre, and facing the full force of the storm.

The hail was described by local fire and rescue services as “tennis ball size”. The hail storm led to many injuries and seven hospitalisations, with injuries ranging from minor cuts and bruises to broken bones.

Taking to Twitter after the ordeal, Tomlinson wrote: “Sending all my love out to everyone that was affected by the extreme weather at Red Rocks last night. I hope everyone has made it home safely and anyone injured is on the mend.”

Tomlinson added that he was already working on rescheduling the gig, and thanks first responders for their efforts in helping fans.

Louis Tomlinson is running a tight schedule in North America on his Faith In The Future tour. He’s set to play in Seattle this Friday night, with shows in Vancouver, Oregon, California and Texas before he takes on a European tour this Autumn.

Tomlinson is set to finish his 2023 tour with a handful of November U.K. shows, as well as an appearance in Dublin’s 3Arena on Wednesday November 8.
