Lowden Guitars have confirmed that they will make their debut among the exhibitors at The Music Show, which takes place on February 25 and 26 2012.
This is the first time that Lowden will be represented at the event, which is increasingly seen as a vital opportunity for all musicians, across all genres and backgrounds in Ireland and further afield to discover the latest developments in instruments, equipment and technology.
"This is a great statement of faith in The Music Show," said show organiser Mark Hogan of Hot Press. "Lowden is a prestige brand, with an international reputation as one of the finest guitar marques in the world. We're very proud that they will be making their debut at The Music Show this year."
Based in Northern Ireland, Lowden Guitars are among the world's finest acoustics, priding themselves on a keen eye for detail, great workmanship and an impeccable knowledge and understanding of wood. "With workers scouring the globe for the best and most decorative tonewoods, Lowden guitars represent the sound of a 'real' guitar," a apokesman told Hot Press.
Lowden have developed a team of craftsmen who build Lowden guitars by hand-using Japanese chisels, planes, knives and spokeshaves. It is no wonder their guitars – which are played by many leading international lights – are regularly described as individual “works of art”!
