Tickets for the acclaimed singer-songwriter's Dublin headliner go on general sale this Friday.
Ahead of the release of her highly anticipated third album, Home Video, on June 25, Lucy Dacus has announced an upcoming tour of the UK and Europe – including a headline show at the Button Factory, Dublin, on March 21, 2022.
In the new issue of Hot Press, out now, we spoke to Lucy Dacus about her upcoming album, Bernie Sanders, nostalgia, working with Phoebe Bridgers and Julien Baker in boygenius, and her Irish connections...
“I’m adopted – my birth mother is Irish, and my birth father is Uzbek,” she revealed. “I actually just recently found that out. And my bassist lives in Donegal, so I want to go and see his place.
“We actually played Electric Picnic. We were on a stage between two DJs, who were playing at different times and in different keys, so it was kind of like being in the middle of a nightmare! But the festival itself was really cool. We’ve never played a headline show in Ireland – but there are plans in motion…”
Presale for Lucy's Dublin and UK shows begins at 10am tomorrow, June 16, for fans who have pre-ordered Home Video. General tickets go on sale this Friday, June 18, at 10am. See Ticketmaster for more information.
