Tickets will go on sale Friday 12th January with the promise of new music to come later this year.
Belfast-based indie singer-songwriter Lucy Gaffney announced a headline show at The Workman’s Cellar in Dublin on 23rd May earlier today. Tickets will go on sale tomorrow morning at 10am.
Gaffney quickly made a name for herself as a musician, touring with major acts such as Sorcha Richardson, Snow Patrol and Inhaler in the mere four years since her arrival on the scene.
Produced by The Coral’s frontman James Skelly, Gaffney’s debut singles ‘Can’t Escape’ and ‘Send Me Away’ immediately defined her as a budding star in the indie world.
By 2021, Gaffney was collaborating with Emmy Award winner Michael Price and co-founder of The Coral Bill Ryder-Jones to create a beautiful rendition of ‘Despite The Weather.’

Over this past year, Gaffney recorded and released her latest EP Daydream in Tokyo, drawing inspiration from indie-pop groups such as Pixies and Pavement. The EP was recorded at Black Bay Studios with the help of her brother Thom Southern and producer Duncan Mills.
Gaffney is currently working on more new music to be released later this year. Further details to come!
