Irish singer-songwriter Lucy McWilliams has unveiled the demo version of her new song ‘The Woman In Me’ - which coincides with her performance at The Grand Social in Dublin this evening as part of The Road To The Great Escape.
This rendition of ‘The Woman In Me’ echoes the warm and sweeping tones of the R&B singer's previous releases and includes rich and dynamic vocals, paired alongside a stripped-back piano accompaniment.
Speaking on her decision to drop a demo version of the song, she said "I've been so busy writing but actually I'm just frustrated wanting to get music out. So I'm putting this song out as it is, just in demo form.”
“I think we all have versions of ourselves that we don't like, maybe way too many actually. This song is about that version of me."
‘The Woman In Me’ follows the Dublin-based artist’s recent well-received singles ‘Fair Play’ ft. Malaki, ‘Runaway’, and ‘You Know,’ with CHAMELEON which garnered over 11.5 million streams online and was played on airwaves nationwide.
