Lullaby

So I, the critically-fawned over debut by Dublin song-and-guitar man Fiach stood out primarily for its gosh-darned-clever simplicity, and the same goes for this terribly sweet video for album track ‘Lullaby’, which finds our leading man strolling dreamily through Temple Bar. Only, in a Coldplay-esque twist, the entire thing has been filmed backwards in a single take. Even after reading the fairly thorough explanation that accompanies the video, we have no idea how they did it, but we can safely say that however many passers-by they had to pay off to get the shot, it was totally worth it. Directed by Bob Kelly, it’s a perfect accompaniment to Fiach’s charming acoustic ditty, which by the way, is up for grabs for nada on his Bandcamp page.
