Lyra and Ryan Sheridan's performances for Van Morrison's 75th birthday celebration are going live tonight.
Following stunning performances on 'Rave On, Van Morrison' last night, we're bringing you another special evening of back-to-back Van covers – with Lyra performing 'A New Kind Of Man', followed by Ryan Sheridan performing 'When The Leaves Come Falling Down'.
Over the course of the YouTube event, celebrating Van Morrison's 75th birthday, you can expect even more renditions of his remarkable songs from some of the most iconic names in the country.
Following the release of her Rupert Christie-produced debut EP WILD in 2016, Lyra has rapidly established herself as one of Ireland's most captivating pop talents. She has continued to develop her unique sound with a string of acclaimed releases and live performances – and was recently announced as one of the first wave of acts for Reading & Leeds 2021.
Initially finding success as a busker, Co. Monaghan multi-instrumentalist Ryan Sheridan has built up a reputation as one of the country's most popular performers – releasing two acclaimed album, The Day You Live Forever and Here and Now, through Rubyworks.
Lyra's performance of 'A New Kind Of Man' (7pm Irish Standard Time) and Ryan Sheridan's performance of 'When The Leaves Come Falling Down' (8pm) premiere tonight, September 3, on the Hot Press YouTube channel.
