British-Swedish R&B pop sensation Mabel delivers a medley of high-energy fuelled dance tracks as the fourth act on the Main Stage at the Longitude Festival today.
Fans are running excitedly towards the stage as the opening notes of platinum artist Mabel's 'Boyfriend' punctures the air of Marlay Park. The explosive start to the stars allocated 45 minute window proves that she could have easily taken on the role of headline act as the tracks hypnotic beat accompanied the singer's smooth, buttery vocals circle the mammoth venue. Supported by a troupe of phenomenal backing dancers dressed in blue, the high-intensity set had the crowd on their feet and singing along to popular favourite 'Mad Love', from the performers debut 2019 studio album High Expectations.

Earning a huge roar of support from the audience, Mabel declares: "It is no secret that this is my favourite place to perform, you guys are so lit!" After taking a well-earned sip of tequila, she launches into the upbeat, yet groovy track 'Bad Behaviour'. Gripping the microphone with her long Barbie-pink nails, the atmospheric intro of 'Finders Keepers' alongside the song's infectious chorus and Mabel's contagious energy has the audience in a state of euphoria. Complimenting harmonies by the star's backing singers perfectly accented the melodic, paired back beat of 'My Lover' followed by the reverberating bass of the pulsating track ‘Good Luck', a 2022 collaboration with Galantis and Jax Jones. Mabel performs expressively on stage as she faux-pushes her backing dancers away.
Sound effects of a vibrating ring tone and visuals of a failed phone call flash on screen which could only mean one track is about to play: 'Ring Ring' and she reveals that this is her favourite song to perform. Calling out her appreciation for her dancers, they break into gravity-defying back flips. Closing out the show with a bang, Mabel couldn't leave without performing her most popular song, with over 800 million hits on Spotify 'Don't Call Me Up', leaves fans yearning for more.
