The protest song features Palestinian-American artists Anees and Amer Zahr, Gaza-born rapper MC Abdul, and the LA Palestinian Kids Choir.
American musician Mackelmore has dropped his new pro-Palestinian anthem ‘Hind’s Hall 2’, the sequel to the highly successful track ‘Hind’s Hall’.
The new single features new vocals from Gaza-born rapper MC Abdul, Palestinian-American singer Anees, author Amer Zahr, the L.A. Palestinian Kids Choir, Tiffany Wilson and friends and the Lifted! Youth Gospel Choir.
All proceeds from ‘Hind’s Hall 2’ will go to the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East (UNRWA), as they did for the first song.

The song is named in reference to Columbia University’s Hamilton’s Hall, renamed Hind’s Hall by pro-Palestine student protestors in honour of Hind Rajab – the six-year-old girl killed by Israeli occupation forces in January, along with six of her family members and two paramedics who came to save her.

In the final verse of the track, Macklemore takes aim at Israel’s nearly year-long war in Gaza, glorifying the Palestine resistance by saying: “Long live the resistance if there’s something to resist / Had enough of you motherfuckers murdering little kids / PC for a minute, I was tryna be a bridge.”
He also sends a message to Vice President and current Democratic presidential nominee, Kamala Harris, saying “Hey Kamala, I don’t know if you’re listening, but stop sending money and weapons or you ain’t winning Michigan.”
