Ahead of Texas' Trinity Summer Series show, Sharleen Spiteri answers our burning questions...
Who would be the last person I would invite to my birthday party?
Donald Trump, because he has caused so much outspoken hatred in the world we live in today.
Who would be the first person you would invite to your birthday party?
My mum because I wish she was still here.
Favourite saying?
I heard a good saying that was, ‘The front-person gets too much attention when things are going good, but the front-person also gets too much bad attention when things are going wrong.’
Favourite book?
Perfume by Patrick Süskind and To Kill A Mockingbird by Harper Lee.
Favourite film ?
Doctor Zhivago.

Favourite Actor/Actress?
I’m going to have to say my friend Dame Judi Dench, because she is just ultra cool.
Favourite musician?
Marvin Gaye.
Most embarrassing moment of your life?
There have been hundreds! I’m the clumsiest person in the world. I’ve fallen off stages, I’ve tripped going into rooms, I’ve thrown drinks over myself in company. Loads!
Favourite food/drink/stimulant
I love Japanese food, after which I always hanker for a glass of red wine. I guess the stimulant would be life.
Favourite TV programme?
I just finished watching The Last Of Us, which was amazing.

Still being here.

I’ll be honest, I’ve not really had a lot of big disappointments. I feel pretty lucky.

Your concept of heaven?
Somewhere where I get to see all the people I have missed for a long time and have a massive party.
Your concept of hell?
Somewhere that hopefully I won’t go.
What would be your dying words?
May the good lord shine a light on me.
Greatest ambition?
I’m kinda living it, so I feel pretty lucky to be doing that.
Period of history I’ve most liked to live in and why?
I would probably say the ’40s, going into the ’50s. Everything was changing massively and I love the fashion as well.
If you weren’t a human being, which animal would you have chosen to be?
Probably some kind of bird, even though I don’t like flying. But to have so many different ways to view the world must be quite amazing.
If you were told that the world was ending tomorrow morning, how would you react?
Well, there’s not really anything you can do, is there? So, I would just want to be with the people I love.

Ooh, never tell anybody that, cause then it might happen.
