Madonna's last film project was 2011's 'W.E.', which told the story of American socialite Wallis Simpson.
Madonna is now a free agent after the expiry of her Interscope Records contract following a decade-long partnership.
The legendary singer recorded three studio albums with the label, including 2012's MDNA, 2015's Rebel Heart and Madame X in 2019.
She also dropped the MDNA World Tour live album with Interscope in 2013.
Madonna is reportedly considering a return to Warner Music, who helped to launched her career back in 1982 under their Sire Records.

The label released her biggest titles to date; Madonna (1983), Like a Virgin (1984), True Blue (1986), Like a Prayer (1989) and Erotica (1992).
Madonna appears to be making her way back to film, revealed over the weekend that she's been writing a screenplay with Oscar-winning screenwriter Diablo Cody.
Sharing a video of the two women working together on Instagram, she captioned the post:
"When you’re stuck in a house with multiple injuries what do you do? she asked in the video's caption. "Write a Screenplay with Diablo Cody about..............?"
The details discussed include a description of one of Madonna's ensembles from her iconic Blonde Ambition tour, leading some to believe that a biopic is in the works.
Madonna previously wrote, produced, and directed the historical drama W.E. that was panned critically and considered a box office failure.
Related to new music, the Queen of Pop will be featured on the remix of Dua Lipa's Future Nostalgia track 'Levitating'.
