The 26-year-old singer and model took the stage in Spain this weekend under her musical stage name, Lolahol, performing high-energy, club-pop hits with dazzling confidence.
As the eldest daughter of The Queen of Pop, Lourdes Leon’s emergence as a musical artist under the moniker Lolahol has been surrounded by anticipation. Since the singer and American fashion model released her debut single ‘Lock&Key’ last year, many have had their eye on the rising, celebrity-bred talent.
This Saturday, September 23, Leon took the stage for a live performance at the Brava Madrid Music Festival at IFEMA. In a silver string bikini and maroon track pants, accessorised with massive hoop earrings and layers of pendant necklaces, Leon – as Lolahol – performed tracks from her EP, Go, debuting ‘Not Pussy,’ ‘Lock&Key,’ and others.
Lolahol performed with two other dances and was backed up by a DJ for the set, which marks the singer’s first major performance. Fan-shot footage of the show was shared online.

Before her festival slot this weekend, Leon told Vogue Spain in an interview that her live show hopes to “encompass the experience of [the] world of dance that comes to meet you when you are out partying and immersing yourself in that clubbing culture.”
“That’s what I want to bring to the stage,” she explained in the interview. “My dancers and I are trying to create a joyful atmosphere through the choreography and the music that accompanies it so that the performance is relaxed as well as cool.”
Before releasing music for the first time in August of 2022, Leon appeared on a cover of Vogue in 2021. She told the magazine, “People think I’m this talentless rich kid who’s had everything given to her, but I’m not,” going on to share that she funded her own way through the University of Michigan School of Music, Theatre & Dance, which she graduated from in 2018.
Earlier this year, Leon attended the 2023 Grammys wearing a red gown and a cone-shaped bra, a tribute to her mother Madonna’s Blond Ambition Tour look from 1990. Leon is the eldest of the Pop Queen’s children. She shares her daughter with Apple Founder Carlos Leon, whom Madonna dated for three years before splitting up in 1997.
Madonna is also the mother to her second eldest, 23-year-old son Rocco Ritchie, as well as her adopted children, 18-year-old David Banda, 17-year-old Mercy James, and twin girls Stelle and Estere Ciccione, aged 11.
Following her daughter’s spectacular festival performance, Madonna herself is preparing to step onstage for the UK and European leg of her Celebration Tour next month. The tour will kick off in London, before moving on to Copenhagen, Barcelona, Paris, Milan, and many more cities.
“I am excited to explore as many songs as possible in hopes to give my fans the show they have been waiting for,” Madonna said in a press release in January, when she announced news of the tour. The rescheduled North American dates will pick up in December, with some tickets available for the Celebration Tour dates here.
