The Galway talent will also be playing at Cork city's Quarter Block Party in July.
The Summer season is proving to be a busy one for Galway singer-songwriter Maija Sofia, who has announced a headline tour date in Dublin.
The gig will take place on September 28 in Whelan's, and will be the album launch show for the singer's upcoming project True Love, releasing at the start of September.
Sofia made the exciting gig announcement on Twitter, promising that there are more dates to come.

As well as announcing her upcoming album and concert, Sofia today released a beautiful new single 'Four Winters' accompanied with a moody, ethereal music video. The song touches on familiar themes of haunting, alternate histories, intimacy and affect. The single will feature on Sofia's upcoming second album, True Love.
Released in 2019, Maija Sofia’s previous album Bath Time, also her debut project, announced her as an accomplished songwriter, gaining widespread critical acclaim and an Album of the Year nomination at the RTÉ Choice Music Prize.
Sofia is an extremely accomplished musician, being a recipient of the Arts Council’s prestigious Next Generation Award 2020, and having been commissioned to write new compositions by several revered cultural institutions, including the National Concert Hall, Sirius Arts Centre, Dublin Digital Radio, Solas Nua and Cork Midsummer Festival.
Tickets for the singer-songwriter's upcoming album launch show will go on sale Fri 16th Jun at 10am, and can be purchased here.
Maija Sofia will also play at Quarter Block Party in Cork, taking place from July 14-16.
