In celebration of the 30th anniversary of Nirvana's 1991 album Nevermind, 13 Irish artists will perform tribute songs at a live-streamed event on September 24.

The iconic album features tracks like 'Smells Like Teen Spirit,' 'In Bloom,' and 'Lithium.' Songs from Nevermind will be performed by Maija Sofia, Havvk, Alien She, Cruiser, Laurie Shaw, Junk Drawer, Uaim, Aoife Wolf, Pretty Happy, Elaine Malone, Mob Wife, and M(h)aol.

Hosted by Dublin's The Grand Social and Sin É and funded by the Department of Tourism, Culture, Arts, Gaeltacht, Sport and Media's Live Venue Collective, the event will aid MASI, or the Movement of Asylum Seekers in Ireland.

The event will be live-streamed on September 24  online and via Micromedia screens throughout the country. Viewers will be able to access a QR code to listen to the pre-recorded audio.
