The festival will be streamed online for free this Friday.
Malaki, Nealo and Ailbhe Reddy have been announced as the headliners for Trinity Festival – an online concert streaming on the Trinity Ents YouTube channel this Friday, April 23, from 9pm.
The Festival is presented as an alternative to Trinity Ball – which has been cancelled for the second year in a row – and is free for everyone to view. In addition to the headliners, Trinity students Ellie O'Neill, Tertia and Big Sleep are also set to perform.
The performances will be streamed from some of the many iconic spaces and rooms in Trinity College – including Regent House above the Front Arch, as well as the Exam Hall, where The Clash famously played in 1977.
“We are super excited to support these wonderful artists in such a tough time for the entertainment industry in general and can't wait to give our students the best possible alternative to Trinity Ball in COVID times," says Trinity Students Union's Ents Officer Hugh MacInerny.

“It’s great to be able to bring live music back to the grounds of the college, and showcase some of the best acts Ireland and the college has to offer to students," adds Live Music Officer for Ents Tadhg Williams.
