Following the release of her debut album, Butterfly Blue, the rising singer and producer shares international tour dates.
Mallrat will kick off her 2022 world tour at The Green Room, Academy in Dublin on August 23. The tour, stopping in North America, Europe, the UK and Australia, marks Mallrat’s swift transition from opener to headliner as she finishes up the final stretch of Conan Gray’s tour, which also stops in Dublin at the 3Olympia on May 30 & 31.
Mallrat’s world tour will give the multifarious artist a chance to showcase her freshly dazzling, debut album, Butterfly Blue. In an interview on the day of the record’s recent release, Mallrat – aka, Grace Shaw – told Hot Press about the roots of the album, which grew, she says, from “what I see around me and what happens to me, but kind of through the lens of a little bit of magic or daydreaming.”

Butterfly Blue is abundant, with genre-bending sounds expanded across its eleven tracks. Singles ‘Rockstar’ and ‘Teeth’ are sure prompt a mosh pit, while Mallrat’s airy vocals on ‘Heart Guitar’ and ‘To You’ promise breathing room before an atom bomb like ‘Surprise Me ft. Azealia Banks.’
Tickets for Mallrat’s headline show on August 23 at The Green Room, Academy will be available for general onsale from this Thursday, May 26 via Ticketmaster. There’s still a few tickets left to snatch for Conan Gray’s two-night stop in Dublin’s 3Olympia with support from Mallrat on May 30 & 31.
