The arrest came only a week after the singer's show at Dublin's 3Arena.
A Canadian man has been arrested after making deaths threats aimed at Lana Del Rey before her performance at Festival d’été de Québec last weekend.
40 year old Denys Mallet from New Brunswick “knowingly made threats to cause death or bodily harm” between January 1 2022 and July 6 2023, according to CTV News. He appeared in court on Friday and remains in custody. He was due back in court yesterday on July 17.
The incident is not the first time that Lana Del Rey has been a target of violent threats.
In 2018, a man from Florida was arrested and sentenced to a year in prison after threatening to kidnap the New York singer-songwriter.

The American songstress released her ninth studio album, the captivating Did You Know That There's A Tunnel Under Ocean Blvd, via Polydor Records, in March earlier this year to a warm reception amongst fans as well as critics.
The Québec show was Del Rey’s first in North America in four years having recently played a surprise show in Dublin’s 3Arena on July 7.
