A man is in the hospital in critical condition after being knocked unconscious in front of the main stage during this past weekend's Parklife Week in Manchester. The attack occurred at 9:15 and the victim was promptly assisted by two off duty medical staff.

The victim is currently recovering in the Salford Royal Hospital. Police are eager to speak with those who assisted him, along with anyone who witnessed the attack.

In a separate scene of violence at the festival, two men were stabbed during what was believed to be a brawl. Neither injury was life threatening, with one of the victims treated onsite.
