Mannequin Pussy will come and play shows in Dublin and Limerick this August.
On Tuesday August 20 Mannequin Pussy will headline at Whelan’s in Dublin, followed by a show at Dolan’s in Limerick on Wednesday August 21.
The group is comprised of Colins “Bear” Regisford on bass and vocals, Kaleen Reading on drums, Maxine Steen on guitar and synth and Marisa Dabice on guitar and vocals.
When talking about the music the group creates, Dabice says “There's just so much constantly going on that feels intentionally evil that trying to make something beautiful feels like a radical act. The ethos of this band has always been to bring people together.”
The group has just released their new album I Got Heaven which consists of 10 pop/punk tracks that focus on the idea of “desire, the power in being alone, and how to live in an unfeeling and unkind world.”

This follows their hit 2019 album Patience and 2021 EP Perfect. It was on tour for these releases that The Philadelphia band added Steen to the band’s official lineup. According to the band, the tour grounded and bonded them as they were all dealing with breakups, changing living situations, and periods of self-reevaluation.
As Regisford puts it, “there was so much going on in our lives that it was the perfect opportunity to recalibrate who we were as people and musicians.”
Tickets for their Irish shows will go on sale on Friday May 10 at 10 a.m. and can be found here.
