Belfast International Arts Festival have announced concerts by Martin Hayes, Lisa O'Neill, and Chris Smither as part of their 2025 edition.

Martin Hayes will play at the Grand Opera House on October 22, Lisa O'Neill will perform at The MAC on October 29 and 30, and Chris Smither will play at Black Box on October 17 alongside singer-songwriter BettySoo as special guest.

The festival returns to venues throughout Belfast from October 15 to November 9, offering a new season of contemporary works by international and local artists in theatre, dance, music, visual arts, literature, and film.

Acclaimed fiddler Martin Hayes is renowned for his soulful interpretations of traditional Irish music. His last album with The Common Ground Ensemble, Peggy’s Dream, came out in 2023.

Folk singer-songwriter Lisa O'Neill released her latest album All of This Is Chance in 2023 to critical acclaim. Currently writing new material for her next LP, she is set to perform at several music festivals this summer, such as Waterford's All Together Now, London's Subterranean and Boston's Seisiún.

Throughout his 50-year career, singer-songwriter Chris Smither has created a signature sound that draws from blues, American folk music, modern poets, and humanist philosophers. He released his 20th album, All About the Bones, in 2024.
