The controversial former CEO of Turing Pharmaceuticals, who first gained infamy for hiking up the price of the HIV drug daraprim from $13.50 to $750 is selling the only existing copy of Once Upon a Time in Shaolin on EBay.
After having purchased the rare album two years ago for $2m, Shkreli made the announcement via his Facebook page, writing "I am selling the Wu-Tang Clan album. Fuck Wu-Tang."
Continuing in his sellers description, Shkreli wrote, "I decided to purchase this album as a gift to the Wu-Tang Clan for their tremendous musical output. Instead I received scorn from at least one of their (least-intelligent) members, and the world at large failed to see my purpose of putting a serious value behind music. I will be curious to see if the world values music nearly as much as I have. I have donated to many rock bands and rappers over the years to ensure they can continue to produce their art when few others would."
Stating further, "I will donate half of the sale proceeds to medical research", Shkreli also decided to point out that he "may even break this album in frustration", which is not be the first time he made such a threat. Previously, Shkreli warned Wu-Tang's Ghostface Killah that he would "erase" the rappers contribution for publicly criticizing the former hedge-fund manager.

With eight days left on the auction, so far 309 bids have been placed with the highest bidder currently offering $999,400, excluding the $22.50 packaging fee. Shkreli however has suggested that he will "flip" $2m into $200m "like lil pump".
He is also offering no returns on the double album.
