Shkreli, who owns the only copy of Once Upon a Time in Shaolin, said he’d release it if Trump became president.
A slim, slim silver lining in all of this is that new Wu-Tang Clan music might be made available sooner rather than later.
Earlier this year, it emerged that Martin Shkreli - the former hedge fund manager and pharmaceutical company CEO who made headlines for drastically increasing the price of a drug that helps fight the AIDS virus - had bought Wu-Tang Clan's one-of-a-kind album Once Upon a Time in Shaolin for $2 million.
Shkreli recently promised to release it if Trump became president. This morning, he has been airing parts of the album following the announcement of Trump’s victory over Hillary Clinton. Shkreli admitted that he didn’t expect Trump to win and said he would have to negotiate terms of a wider release with Wu-Tang. In the meantime, here's a few teaser clips.
