Described by Hot Press as “One of our most openly raw performers”, 2024 marks 40 years since Mary Coughlan went into the studio to record her debut LP Tired and Emotional.
From that point on, she has garnered a reputation for being one of the finest female vocalists the island has ever produced, drawing from the line of classic artists, like Bessie smith, Billie Holiday, and Edith Piaf.
Tickets for Mary Coughlan’s upcoming UK and Irish tour start from €30, and go on sale on Friday, 22 March at 9am via marycoughlan.com.
