The festival will be largely free, with over 35 free gigs taking place.
Established in 2019, the fifth iteration of the Howth Roots and Blues festival will take place on August 9-11.
The mostly free festival will feature a variety of artists and styles including as Mary Coughlan, Mik Pyro & Dublin Blues Cartel, and Mary Stokes.
Cavan's The Savage Hearts also make up part of the festival's lineup.
The Howth Roots and Blues festival aims to celebrate the Irish artists, along with some international talent, and offers an eclectic mix for fans of Blues, Country, Bluegrass, Americana, and Reggae.
There will be five exclusive ticketed headline shows at the historic Abbey Tavern, and one at Howth Angling Centre.

Headline acts include internationally acclaimed singer ‘Mary Coughlan’, Award winning blues artist ‘Grainne Duffy’, UK all star blues trio ‘The Dirt Road Band’, Award winning rock trio 'Crow Black Chicken’, and the living legend ‘Rob Strong’ and his Band.
Gráinne Duffy Band will also be performing a ticketed live show.
Howth Roots and Blues festival will take place across 8 different venues over the course of the weekend including The Summit Inn, McNeills, The Bloody Stream, The Harbour Bar, Findlaters, O’Connells, Howth Angling Centre and The Abbey Tavern.
Some of the venues have created specially designated outdoor spaces for summer gigs. O’Connells will have the East Pier Stage, an outdoor performance space on the prom at The East Pier.
The Bloody Stream will host Phil Lynott Stage in their tented beer garden. The Harbour Bar has the Garden Stage, an intimate outdoor performance space in their covered beer garden.
