Mary Coughlan has released a new single, 'Freefalling' (feat. Ultan Conlon) via Strange Brew.
The scintillating track is taken from Coughlan's recently-released album Repeat Rewind, which Hot Press' Jackie Hayden said "overflows with honest emotions" in his 8/10 review.
'Freefalling' sees the Galway native team up with longtime collaborator Ulta Conlon (John Martyn, Lisa Hannigan) to create a lighthearted and endearing duet that shines a light on topics that consume many of our day-to-day lives: making up, breaking up, breaking down and most importantly falling in love again.
Often described as one of the greatest vocal talents to emerge from the Irish music scene, Mary Coughlan sits comfortably among the ranks of some of the world's greatest jazz and blues musicians. Celebrating her fourth decade in the music industry, 'Freefalling' sees Coughlan welcoming another busy season of live gigs and a string of upcoming UK dates.
