Legendary Irish singer Mary Coughlan is slated to kickstart the Opium sessions tomorrow night (October 7), featuring support from Roo Elizabeth.
The Opium Sessions is a four-night concert series taking place between October 7–10. Presented by Black Dog Music Limited and supported by the Department of Tourism, Culture, Arts, Gaeltacht, Sport, and Media; the Opium Sessions is an excellent showcase of exceptional Irish talent.
Following Coughlan’s set tomorrow night, Paranoid Visions, Sack and A Lazarus Soul will also headline the series. The acts will perform in the Opium Rooms on Wexford Street with capacity for each event limited to 100 attendees.
Alongside the headline acts a number of support acts have been announced. Dublin Punk band The Nilz will support Paranoid Visions on Friday (October 8), The Pale open for Sack on October 9th and singing duo Zeztra support A Lazarus Soul as they finish out the weekend on October 10th.

Coughlan recently performed at The Grand Social as part of Hot Press' Up Close And Personal series. The series - curated in conjunction with Up Close And Personal Promotions and supported by the Department of Tourism, Culture, Arts, Gaeltacht and Sport - features iconic Irish artists discussing some of the greatest Irish records of all time.
