The Wild Bunch are promising a "personalised nostalgia nightmare head trip" next February
Following their sensational Electric Picnic set, Massive Attack are Dublin 3Arena-bound on February 24 with old mucker Elizabeth Fraser the special guest vocalist.
Bank…, er, Robert Del Naja is promising/threatening “a one-off piece of work; our own personalised nostalgia nightmare head trip” as, 21 years on, the Wild Bunch re-imagine their classic Mezzanine album using “custom audio reconstructed from the original samples and influences."
Featuring the likes of ‘Angel’, ‘Risingson’, ‘Inertia Creeps’ and ‘Teardrop’, it was another landmark record for the Bristolians who looked to The Velvet Underground, Isaac Hayes and Manfred Mann for some of those aforementioned samples.
Tickets priced €49.50 go on sale at 10am on Friday November 2.
