Megan O’Neill has released her single ‘Love Like This’ which was the final song that O'Neill recorded at The Meadow Studios back in June 2023. The track is preceded by ‘All Those Yesterdays’ which came out in November of 2023 and ‘The Hard Way’ which was released in January 2024.

O’Neill’s new single is raw and passionate and expresses the significance of an emotional connection with the right person as you experience life together.

When talking about the track O’Neill says “I remember uploading this back in early March, before I became a new mother, thinking I’d have time to share posts and promote a new song! How naïve!

“But actually, this feels like the perfect time for the song to come out because even though I wrote this before I was pregnant, now with Faye here, I really have never felt a love like this!”

The track features Paul Kenny on drums, Joseph Doyle on the bass, Sam Killeen on guitar, and O’Neill on the piano, synth and electric guitar. The song was mixed by Scott Halliday and mastered by Stephen Ceresia.

Over the past year O’Neill has seen great success in her music. Her EP Time (Thought You Were On My Side) contained singles that became top 10 charting songs and were playlisted by RTÉ Radio 1, iRadio, Spin 1038 and more. She also was a featured performer on BBC’s Across The Line and Virgin Media’s Six O’Clock Show.

Her song ‘Time In A Bottle’ was used for the opening scene of Netflix’s Firefly Lane which then landed her shows performing on RTÉ Late Late Show. Her music is also being featured on ABC’s show Nashville.

O’Neill has gone on tour with artists such as Sir Tom Jones, Lighthouse Family and Jamie Cullen. In 2022 she toured with Glen Hansard across Ireland and took part in the Christmas Eve Busk on Grafton Street.

The singer-songwriter is not a part of the Where The Waters Meet project with Paul Kenny which was launched in November 2022 and started with a cover of ‘Bette Davis Eyes’ which was a commissioned piece for the Recording Academy (The Grammy Awards).
