Merchy Christmas market returns to The Grand Social this weekend featuring Pillow Queens, Kojaque, Kneecap and more

Some of the hottest names in contemporary Irish music will be directly selling their merch at The Grand Social. Entry is free, however a donation of €6 is suggested. See the full lineup below.

Merchy Christmas is returning this weekend to the Grand Social on 16 & 17 December.

A real-life merch market, an array of Irish artists will flog their wares directly to their fans. Established during the Christmas lockdown of 2020, it’s the brainchild of Saint Sister and their manager Conor Cusack, created as a means of allowing musicians to personally connect with listeners and thank them for their support.

There will also be a host of live performances throughout the event, with the likes of John Francis Flynn, Nealo, Morgana, Pillow Queens, Aoife Nessa Frances and many more providing the tunes across various stages.

The two-day spectacle spans multiple floors and will raise much needed funds for both the artists as well as the Dublin Simon community.

Additionally, Merchy Christmas is raising money for those who need help further afield, specifically those suffering in the midst of the humanitarian crisis happening in Palestine. This year the event is partnering with The Palestine Children's Relief Fund (PCRF), in association with Irish Artists for Palestine.

Last year the weekender raised close to €10,000 for charity and this year organisers are hoping to raise even more. Irish Artists for Palestine will have a stall selling their own merch with the proceeds being donated to arts organisations in Gaza, through the Palestinian Performing Arts Network.

A jumbo raffle will take place each day, with limited-edition merch kindly donated by the artists taking part across the weekend. Prizes include a full day of recording at The Clinic Recording Studios, weekend camping tickets for Beyond The Pale, tickets to The Killers 3 Arena show and much more.

Entry is free, however there is a suggested donation of €6.
