The Merchy Christmas charity partners for 2024 are the Dublin Simon Community and the Palestine Children's Relief Fund
Merchy Christmas – the beloved Irish music merch market – returns to The Grand Social in Dublin this year on Saturday, December 14, and Sunday, December 15, featuring a thrilling selection of homegrown artists flogging their wares directly to their fans.
Open from 11am to 7pm each day, admission is free, with a suggested donation of €6 – which is being split between Dublin Simon Community and the Palestine Children's Relief Fund.
Merchy Christmas was originally established by Conor Cusack and Saint Sister during the Christmas lockdown of 2020. Working with Keiron Black and The Grand Social team, they put together a two-day event across multiple floors, which proved hugely successful.
Last year, the event raised close to €15,000, and for 2024, organisers are hoping to raise even more to share between their two charity partners. A jumbo raffle will take place each day, featuring limited-edition merch donated by the artists taking part across the weekend.
Merchy Christmas will also feature special live performances across the weekend – with details to be revealed closer to the time.
