Tickets for the tour are scheduled for sale on Friday August 16 at 10 am
Avant-garde punk artist Meryl Streek will be headlining Whelan's on November 29, as a part of his Songs for The Deceased tour.
Speaking on the album of which the tour is based off, Streek says Songs for The Deceased "is a collection of stories about betrayal, murder, injustice, and corruption around my hometown of Dublin” adding that “It’s not just happening in Ireland, it’s happening around the world”

Streek's lyricism is known for discussion of Irish sociopolitical commentary and social justice, with his track 'Death to the Landlord' having over 200,000 streams on Spotify.

The Dublin-based producer emerged in Europe's post-punk scene with his debut album 796 (2022). The album mixes the hardcore genre with electronic and traditional Irish sounds, cementing the artist as a force in the UK and Irish hardcore scene.
The Songs for The Deceased Tour will conclude with a show in Belfast on November 30 at Ulster Sports Bar.
Streek's Dublin performance is ages 18+ with tickets starting at €14.50 and go on sale August 16. More information regarding the show can be found here.
