To celebrate Metallica's 72 Seasons, the band is bringing a global premiere listening party to Irish cinemas a day before the new album drops, complete with exclusive content
Fans of the hardcore metal rock band Metallica already know that they released the music video for 'If Darkness Had a Son' today. The single is from the upcoming, 12-track album 72 Seasons.
It's been six years since Metallica last released a full-length album. So, to kick off the album's release, Metallica and Trafalgar Releasing, the global leader in event cinema distribution, are hosting a worldwide premiere and listening party for it.
Metallica and Trafalgar Releasing have worked together before, previously joining forces for the October 2019 worldwide cinematic release of Metallic and San Francisco Symphony:S&M².
To make things all the better, the listening party will include exclusive videos and commentary from the band. Each song will get its own music video.
The April 13th premiere will be one night only, hitting Irish cinemas the day before the album drops. Tickets to the listening party are available for cinemas in Dublin, Donegal, Limerick, Mayo, and Waterford.
