The news follows new single 'Therapy' and their freshly inked publishing deal with Rough Trade.
Rising Irish band M(h)aol are embarking on a national Tour for 2023, performing shows in Galway, Cork, Limerick, and Dublin this April.
The band recently announced their debut album Attachment Styles, which arrives on February 3rd via TULLE Collective and now Rough Trade Publishing (pre-order here).
Based between Cork, Dublin, London, and Bristol, the band is formed of Róisín Nic Ghearailt (She/Her), Constance Keane (She/Her), Jamie Hyland (She/Her), Zoë Greenway (She/Her), and Sean Nolan (He/Him).
M(h)aol dropped their new single ‘Therapy’ last week, a light-hearted track that deals with very real subject matter that premiered via Apple Music’s The Matt Wilkinson Show.
"I wanted to write 'Therapy' as a light-hearted addition to the album, dealing with a very real subject matter.”, vocalist Róisín says of the track. “It came from a conversation I had with a friend who was talking about a loved one not turning up to therapy, even though they were why she was in therapy, and I was thinking about people in our lives who are the reason we go to therapy and how we can often heal in spite of them."

The track follows the release of 'Asking for It', 'Bored of Men' and 'No One Ever Talks To Us' from the album as well as their Gender Studies EP.
Attachment Styles is a record about social connection, queerness and healing where the listening goes on a journey. Bassist Jamie produced, mixed, and mastered the album where she wanted to capture the live element, meaning it was recorded in one small room with no headphones, minimal drum mics, and only a PA for vocals.
