'90s' is a track for fans of artists like Harry Styles, Niall Horan, Shawn Mendes and Tom Grennan.
Mayo singer-songwriter Michael Moloney has released his latest single ‘90s’.
'90s' is an upbeat pop track with an electronic edge, signifying a shift in direction from the talented teenager’s previous work.
"This song is a celebration of the decade that helped inspire my creativity” said the young singer on new song. “I wanted to do something different. I wanted to challenge myself, push myself out of my comfort zone and explore a new genre that I had never tried before.”
“I love 90’s pop culture, and the style and attitude of people who grew up in that generation, so I wanted to reflect that in the song”, he added.

Moloney first gained widespread attention in 2020, following his performance with Dermot Kennedy on The Late Late Show, on which the former has now made five appearances.
“I just wanted to say congratulations,” said Kennedy, commenting on the young star’s debut single ‘All That I Do’ upon its release in 2021. “It is miles better than anything I could’ve done at your age and you should be so proud.”
Moloney, having teamed up with Universal Music Ireland, has since made various appearances on both TV and radio, while also going on to sell out The Soundhouse in Dublin and Castlebar’s TF Royal in his native county.
The singer is set to support pop-rock duo Carron in Whelans on July 20, tickets start from €14.50 via ticketmaster.ie.
'90s' is available now on streaming platforms.
