The Monaghan act will be showcasing material from their upcoming second album
Painful sounding Northern outfit Mike Got Spiked (ouchie) have announced a January tour, which will take in five spots around the country. The trio will begin in Belfast and then take in Dublin, Cork and Louth, as well as a yet-to-be-announced secret show which will see the band perform an entire set of covers.
MGS, who relocated to the States in 2006, will be showcasing tracks from their upcoming sophomore album No Is Not An Answer, due for release in spring 2011.
The album was recorded at Perfect Sound Studios in Los Angeles in late 2010 with ex-pat and Grammy Award nominee, Jason Donaghy (Band of Horses, Rob Zombie, The Murderdolls, Ryan Adams, Sum 41) on production duties.
