"I wanted an Ike and Tina vibe", Miles Kane said of the collab taken from his upcoming album.
UK indie rocker Miles Kane has returned with the fourth song released from his forthcoming album Change The Show, 'Nothing's Ever Gonna Be Good Enough'.
Collaborating with Corrine Bailey Rae of 'Put Your Records On' fame, the new single comes after previous releases 'See Ya When I See Ya', 'Caroline' and 'Don't Let It Get You Down'.
"I love the back and forth between us," Kane said, explaining the collaboration. "I wanted an Ike and Tina vibe, not a gratuitous guest. Unfortunately, we had to record it remotely, but we'll perform it on stage together I'm sure."
Bailey Rae concurred, saying that she "loves this song and can't get it out of my head. So pleased to be on it with my dear friend Miles."
The song comes with a nostalgic sea-side themed video featuring actors playing younger versions of the two musicians having fun at the beach.
When he previously spoke about creating Change The Show during the pandemic, Miles Kane said: "This album was born out of an intense period of self-reflection; having all this unexpected time on my hands.

"I wrote songs about big highs, big lows, daydreams, true friends and deep feelings. I learnt to let the future unfold of its own accord while staying true to myself and that has led to what feels to me like a really uplifting album!"
Miles Kane's new album Change The Show arrives on January 21.
