The Hot Press Lockdown Sessions entered a new phase this week, with the launch of The Y&E Series – supported by the Department of Culture, Heritage and the Gaeltacht.
Following stellar sets this week on the Hot Press Lockdown Sessions' brand new The Y&E Series, we're delighted to present Milk. as our latest act – performing live on the Hot Press Instagram tonight, June 18, at 7.30pm.
Tipped as one of the Hot Press ‘Hot For 2020 Irish Acts’, Milk. combine feel-good indie-pop with elements of R&B and electronica – and you might also recognise lead singer Mark McKenna from John Carney’s 2016 film Sing Street…
The Dublin-based band arrive on The Y&E Series on the eve of the release of their highly anticipated 1, the EP – out on Friday, June 19.
Continuing tonight with Milk., The Y&E Series is shining a light on some of the best new and emerging talent that Ireland has to offer in 2020 – with 40 acts set to join Hot Press on Instagram for special live performances across 40 consecutive days, thanks to the support of the Department of Culture, Heritage and the Gaeltacht.

Friday, June 19: ROE

One of the brightest young rappers on the Irish scene, the Galway-based Celaviedmai has made a huge impression with her energetic, impassioned delivery – and powerful lyrics.
